The multi-year French residence permit “passeport talent” allows you to work in France for more than 3 months.
It is issued in several situations:
- if you are highly qualified,
- want to create a business or invest in France,
- if you are an artist.
It is valid for a maximum of 4 years and renewable.
What are the procedures to obtain this residence permit?
Vous devez demander une carte si la durée de séjour envisagée est d’au moins 1 an. Si la durée de séjour est inférieure à 1 an, un visa de long séjour valant titre de séjour (VL-TS) mention passeport talent suffit.
You must apply for a card if the intended length of stay is at least 1 year. If the length of stay is less than 1 year, a long-stay visa equivalent to a residence permit (VL-TS) mentioning the talent passport is sufficient.
The documents to be provided:
- Your long-stay visa or residence permit
- Your passport
- Birth certificate
- If you are married: marriage certificate
- If you have children: birth certificate for each child (full copy or extract with filiation)
- Proof of address dated less than 3 months
- 3 passport photos
- Fill out the form No 15614
- Employment contract
- Proof of resources greater than or equal to € 36,946.00 gross per year
- Diploma (s)
- Documents completed by your employer
To submit your request, contact the French consular authorities in your country of residence. On your arrival in France, your card will be given to you at the prefecture or sub-prefecture to your domicile address upon presentation of your visa.
