Who Should Apply for an ID Card?
It is the legal obligation of every adult Polish citizen, residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland, to have a valid ID card.
Therefore, get your ID card first when:
- As soon as you are over 18
- You will become an adult in 30 days
- You are a child, but you are planning a trip abroad to another country where it is accepted to cross the border on the basis of ID. In this case, parents or legal guardians must apply on your behalf.
